Pritzker Children’s Initiative supports state and community organizations and coalitions to expand prenatal-to-three services with equity and family leadership at the center of their systems.
View HighlightsState Grants
PCI supports coalitions in 20 states across the country to increase the number of infants, toddlers, and their families receiving high-quality services by at least 50% by 2025. Through its partners, PCI offers these coalitions capacity-building support, communications assistance, and peer learning opportunities.
NextCommunity Grants
PCI supports the development of ambitious local plans in 11 communities designed to reach at least 25% of their at-risk PN-3 population by 2023. Each community has launched local efforts to improve child and family outcomes through the expansion of programs and policies and the strengthening of PN-3 systems.
NextNational Collaborative for Infants and Toddlers (NCIT)
The National Collaborative for Infants and Toddlers is a coalition of thousands of organizations working at the federal, state, and local levels to draw attention to the needs of young children and their families.
NextNCIT Capacity Building Hub, Solutions Center and XChange
The Capacity Building Hub, led by the BUILD Initiative, supports states and communities to identify gaps and opportunities and build coalitions to support comprehensive PN-3 systems. The Hub provides hands-on consultation to boost dramatic increases in quality PN-3 services in states and communities. BUILD manages the NCIT Solutions Center as an online resource for policymakers, advocates, and engaged stakeholders to find information about what’s working in PN-3 policies and programs. It also manages the NCIT XChange, an online community where prenatal-to-three leaders and champions can ask questions, discuss challenges, and share successes.
